History
Why the Challenge Léopold Dumont
The Challenge Léopold Dumont is the youth tournament organised by Royal Léopold Club since 2011.
It took its current name in 2013, following the tragic death of a young member of the club, Léopold Dumont, in a plane accident together with his mother Anne-Sophie, his two sisters Fiona and Joséphine, and his grandfather Jean, a longtime Léo member.
Every year, the Dumont family, through Léopold's grandmother Anne Dumont, supports the tournament by offering the medals and trophies given to the participants.
Today, thanks to the dedication of many Léo members, the tournament has become one of the most respected youth tournaments in Belgium.
